I usually wake up between 7.00 to 7.30am. As of late, I have been having hard time getting up even by 8.30am. Yesterday, hub came in to steal a nap when he had 5 minutes to spare before leaving for work. It never happened before so I thought he was not feeling well. But no, he was just plain sleepy. I suspect it is our lavendar plant. The flowers are out as you can see, and it is releasing out the most wonderful fragrant which blows straight into our bedroom when our windows are open. Which leaves me this question ... how do people living in Provence (especially near the fields) handle this relaxing smell in their day to day life???
We had a simple dinner last night. The chicken stock base is from a bottle, but it is so good you can´t tell its from a bottle. It has an Oma branding on it, promising great taste like how it is suppose to be cooked by your Oma (by the way, that means grandmother) and it is apparently free of any preservatives, colouring and all the bad stuff for ones body. I really like it so I guess I will go stock up a few glasses more. We had them with slices of onion, potatoes, carrots and mushrooms.
